Hello, everyone and welcome to my book blog! My name is Heather, though I also go by Vikael in most online games, but this blog isn't about that. This blog was actually the brain child that came from a friend insisting I put together a book list for them and deciding maybe some other people may benefit from my recommendations as well, which actually often come from other people, but that's neither here nor there.

What you should not expect from this blog is a detailed synopsis or plot analysis. I'll go into why I liked the book, why I didn't, and why I think you ought to give it a try. I'll also go into why you might not want to. I'll also provide some links to places you might acquire the title to be your own judge.

Genres I gravitate to are Fantasy, realistic Sci/Fi, Epic Fantasy, and Horror. In Horror, I prefer the sub-genres of Folk Horror, Cosmic Horror, and Existential Dread.
